On 15th and 16th September 2010, Cenex will be hosting the third LCV at Millbrook Proving Ground and we are looking forward to your participation in this unique event in the UK.
Over the years LCV has grown considerably and is now regarded as the largest Low Carbon Vehicle event in the UK if not Europe and attracts around 1500 visitors over the two days of the event.
LCV2010 aims to demonstrate that, despite the economic difficulties over the past year, the development and deployment of Low Carbon Vehicles and technologies in the UK is continuing to gather pace.
This year Cenex has teamed up with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and aims to bring 50 International VIP's to the event to showcase the capabilities of UK technology providers and to provide a wider global platform for collaborative opportunities.
LCV 2010 hosts three events in one:
- A low and ultra low carbon vehicle and technology exhibition showcasing the innovative R&D from the UK's leading automotive OEM's, technology companies, supply chain, research organisations and universities.
- A low carbon vehicle ride and drive where customers and International VIP's can experience driving the latest Low and Ultra Low Carbon vehicles around a number of tracks within the safety of the Millbrook Proving Ground.
- A conference and technical seminar programme will run in parallel over the two days of the event, with discussions ranging from "Why the UK is leading way in low carbon vehicle RD&D and deployment" to "Strategic capabilities development in vehicles and infrastructure development to support low carbon vehicle deployment".
A facility to pre-book short meetings with UK Trade & Investment's international visitors will be available. Demand for this is expect to be high and companies are recommended to book early to avoid disappointment.
